Information on the Processing of Personal Data - Mentoring Project

I. Personal Data Controller

III. Purposes and Legal Basis of Processing
Your personal data are processed for purposes related to the implementation of the mentoring project of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn.

IV. Categories of Personal Data and Sources
As part of participation, the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn will process personal data provided by participants, in particular:

name and surname,
e-mail address,
telephone number,
place of work or study,
position/function,
professional experience,
areas of interest or development,
photograph (if submitted),
short biography (BIO) prepared for the presentation of participants,
other information necessary for the implementation, coordination, and promotion of the mentoring project.

V. Data Recipients
Your personal data will not be shared with anyone without your knowledge and consent. However, in order to ensure the highest quality of services provided by the University, data may be disclosed to public authorities or entities entitled to obtain data under applicable law, as well as to other entities cooperating with us to the extent necessary and for purposes consistent with the implementation of this project.
Additionally, personal data of mentoring project participants (mentors and mentees) may be shared with:
other project participants (e.g. in the process of matching mentoring pairs or for communication purposes),
persons and entities involved in the organization, coordination, and promotion of the project – solely to the extent necessary for its proper implementation.

VI. Data Retention Period
Your personal data will be stored until you withdraw your consent for their processing.

VII. Your Rights
You have the right to:
a) access your data and obtain a copy of it,
b) rectify your data,
c) erase your data,
d) restrict the processing of your data,
e) object to the processing of your data,
f) data portability,
g) lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority,
h) withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data.

To exercise these rights, please submit your request to the Data Protection Officer of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn.

VIII. Requirement/Voluntary Provision of Data
Providing personal data is necessary for the purposes of processing referred to in Section III (Purposes and Legal Basis of Processing). If you do not provide your data, it will not be possible to achieve these purposes.
